My name is Charlène — a proud single mother of three incredible children and the founder of Jelilah Beauty. My story isn’t one I chose, but one that shaped me. In 2023, my life took a turn I never expected: cancer. Silent, brutal, life-altering.

As my body changed, so did my skin. It became hypersensitive, reacting to everything I once loved. Makeup and skincare products I trusted turned harsh and unsuitable. My reflection no longer felt like me. But in the heart of that storm, I discovered a truth: beauty isn’t just an appearance — it’s an inner light that no illness can extinguish.

Refusing to let this ordeal define me, I chose to rise. Jelilah Beauty was born from resilience, passion, and a need for real, safe essentials for sensitive skin — like mine, while undergoing treatment. Clean, effective formulas, stunning pigments that enhance rather than mask, and products made to respect skin of all kinds.

Jelilah is my daughter’s name. In Arabic, it means "Majestic, of high nobility." That’s the spirit I want to pass on to every person who crosses our path: to feel noble, radiant, and worthy, no matter your age, story, or complexion.

Still in treatment today, I continue to fight — with strength, determination, and an unshakable spirit. This experience reminded me of what matters most: returning to safe, high-quality essentials and makeup that honors rather than hides. Jelilah Beauty is created for every skin tone, from 20 to 70, celebrating authentic, plural beauty.

But it’s more than skin deep. My brand carries values of generosity and solidarity: 10% of our profits are donated to charitable foundations. Because to feel beautiful is also to do good, and to consume with heart.
